APPOINTMENTS

At BodyVida Massage & Wellness, we love to give you our full attention—so all of our appointments are by reservation only. We’re unable to take walk-ins, but don’t worry, booking is super easy! You can book your next appointment right here on our website, give us a call at (804) 548-5758, or drop us a quick email at info@bodyvidamassage.com. We can’t wait to see you!

CREDIT CARD POLICY

To reserve your spot at BodyVida, we’ll need a credit card on file—don’t worry, no charges will be applied when you first book! You’ll have the option to use a stored card when checking out. All card information is securely stored, so you can relax knowing your details are safe with us. Just a heads-up: any stored card, including the one you provide, may be used to cover cancellation fees if needed. If you ever want to remove a card from our system, feel free to reach out to us anytime. We’re here to make your experience as easy and secure as possible, and we’re happy to answer any questions you may have!

LATE ARRIVALS

We totally get that life happens and sometimes delays are unavoidable! That said, to be fair to all our clients, we do ask that the full session fee be paid if you arrive late. We’ll always do our best to accommodate a little grace period, but please note that it’s not always possible, especially if there’s another appointment right after yours. If we can, we’ll happily extend your session for a few extra minutes.


If you haven’t arrived by 15 minutes past your scheduled time and haven’t reached out to let us know, we’ll consider you a “no show” and the full appointment fee will apply. Please keep in mind that it’s your responsibility to let us know if you're running late—your reminder is sent 24 hours before your appointment, and we won’t be able to reach out to you. Feel free to call or text us if you need to make any changes!

CANCELLATIONS/NO SHOWS/RESCHEDULING

To help us offer the best possible service to all of our wonderful clients, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, there will be a fee of 50% of the service cost. If you don't show up for your appointment without any notice, the full 100% of the reserved service cost will be charged.


We want to make sure every client has the chance to book at a time that works best for them, so timely cancellations allow us to offer that same spot to someone else who might need it.

If cancellations or no-shows become frequent, we may ask for a non-refundable deposit of 100% to secure future appointments. We’re just trying to ensure that everyone gets the care they need, when they need it!

CLIENT HEALTH POLICY

We understand that life can throw curveballs—whether it’s an unexpected illness or an emergency. If you’re feeling unwell, especially if you have a fever, infection, or have experienced vomiting or diarrhea in the 24 hours before your appointment, we kindly ask that you reschedule. Don’t worry, if you need to cancel last-minute due to illness or an emergency, we typically won’t charge you for the session—but we’ll handle this on a case-by-case basis.


In rare situations, there may be times when we can’t proceed with a massage due to certain medical conditions. Some conditions are contraindicated for massage and could cause harm. If this happens, your therapist will advise you to check in with your primary care physician (PCP) for guidance.


We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping everyone safe and healthy!

INCLEMENT WEATHER

We value your safety (and ours)! During inclement weather, we will accept same day cancellations without any penalties. 

REFUNDS

  1. All purchases of services, including massages and related treatments, are non-refundable.
  2. In the rare event that we are unable to fulfill a scheduled service appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer rescheduling options at your convenience. If you have prepaid for the service and are unable to reschedule, we can discuss refund options.
  3. If you encounter any concerns about the quality of our services, please bring them to Angie's attention, and she will make every effort to address and resolve the matter appropriately.

INAPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR/RIGHT OF REFUSAL

At BodyVida, we are committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for everyone. Our massage therapy services are strictly for relaxation and therapeutic purposes. There is absolutely no sexual component to massage whatsoever. Any insinuation, joke, gesture, conversation, or request otherwise will result in immediate termination of your session and a refusal of any and all services in the future. You will be charged the full service fee regardless of the length of your session. Depending on the behavior exhibited we may also file a report with the local authorities if necessary.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to maintaining the highest level of privacy for our clients' personal information. Rest assured that all information disclosed during consultations and services is treated with strict confidentiality, unless legally required to be shared. Your privacy is of utmost importance to us, and we take every precaution to protect your information. 


The types of information that is collected by BodyVida Massage & Wellness includes names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, credit card information, and general health data. We collect this information through a Client Intake Form, which is required to be filled out by each client before a service can be performed. Contact information is collected in case there is a need to contact you regarding an existing or upcoming appointment. Often, we will contact you via text (SMS) messaging. We also use your contact information (mostly email addresses) for marketing purposes. If you wish not to receive marketing messages, please unsubscribe at your convenience or contact us at info@bodyvidamassage.com or (804) 548-5758 to be removed from marketing messages. 


Further, all information collected by BodyVida Massage & Wellness via our website is encrypted and remains secured after data is collected. We will never share your information with any third party services.
